Luckily for us, we get the freshest and creamiest butter just down the road from our local Co-Op in Bandon town. It is also where we supply the milk of our dairy herd from our farm a few miles out into the countryside. This makes us Ireland's only farm/biscuit bakery. Once in the bakery, we mix small amounts at a time and after a short dough rest, we hand-cut each piece and then place in a slow baking process. It gives our shortbread their unmistakable flavour and why we called it 'Original' from the beginning of our bakery days.
Rest assured that every Seymour's biscuit is baked by us in Bandon. Unlike other Irish biscuit brands, we do not outsource production and mislead customers. When we say we are the makers and purveyors - we are.
