From The Heart of West Cork Country...
Our family farm lies 8km east of Bandon town in West Cork from where our dairy herd supplies milk to the local co-op. The beginning of Seymour’s biscuit bakery stemmed from the intention to use the butter made from our cow’s milk in the production of artisan biscuits. This is a unique feature of our biscuits. Starting in the home kitchen back in 2006, our biscuit varieties have been developed completely in-house. In 2008 we established Seymour’s bakery in Bandon and today our small team of bakers supply Ireland’s foremost fine food stores as well as supplying retail customers in export markets.
We make both sweet and savoury biscuits – all with butter freshly delivered from the nearby co-op. We make in small batches and cut the dough entirely by hand. We are adamant that the biscuits are as traditional as possible but with a contemporary twist.
Being small means we are personable too. For our customers, it is important to know that it is real people and not machines which make the food they buy. It is this connection which provides our products with such provenance.
Today, no matter where you may be in the world, you too can taste this part of Ireland through our online shopping facility. To-date we have shipped to customers throughout Europe, North America and as far away as New Zealand.
We hope you have enjoyed our biscuit products and thank you for visiting us online.
